TGIF is a fun meme hosted by Ginger of GReads! Every week is an awesome new question, here's this weeks:
Since there seems to be a growing problem among teenagers who drive: drinking and driving, texting and driving, cellphone talking and driving. I figured this may be a good literature for high school classrooms. Maybe get the point across - hopefully. So here is my choice:
Tears of a Tiger (Hazelwood High, #1)
Hardcover, 192 pages
Published: October 1, 1994
Publisher: Atheneum
This Friday's Question:Back to School Reading: Which books would you like to see in today's high school Literature classrooms?

SYNOPSISAfter a car accident kills Robert, Andy's best friend and teammate on the Hazelwood High Tigers, Andy doesn't know if he can go on. He's consumed with guilt for driving the night of the accident after a long evening of drinking and partying. With perceptiveness and compassion, Sharon M. Draper portrays an African-American teenager who feels driven to consider suicide in the wake of a devastating tragedy.

Hi, I'm Sherri. . . and just to be clear I'm not [Fikt]shun, but I love her blog.
I love to read fiction, so writing reviews of books for a hobby is just an added pleasure to my list of things to do. I just can't read a good book without sharing what I've read. When I'm not reading, I'm writing.
By the way, if you like reading on the naughty or romantic side, visit my new blog FIK(TISH)UHS Pleasures.
