GET ME OFF THE SHELF!
Get Me Off The Shelf! is my edition of The Review Pile from*Stepping Out of the Page*hosted by Stephanie. This will be a weekly meme on Thursdays.
The aim of this meme is to showcase books that you own but haven't yet got around to reading, in order to give the book some extra publicity. I thought it'd be helpful to readers/reviewers as well as publishers/authors to try and showcase books that you own but haven't had time to get around to.
This week I'm spotlighting:
Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris
I just don't know why I haven't read this book yet. I was all hyped about getting it and love the Sookie Stackhouse Series!
This is what happens I think, I get so wrapped up in the show True Blood that is based off of the books, so it kind of knocks off the edge for me. I don't know.
I'm a, pick the book that I'm in the mood for moment, kind of reader.
So share what's you need to get off your bookshelf, or floor, or box . . .

I loved the Sookie Stackhouse series when the books first came out. I thought they went downhill quite a few books ago, but because of the show "True Blood" I started reading them again. I wasn't too excited about the newest one, but there's only one more to go before it ends. So, I read it with that in mind. I was surprised that I enjoyed it- I think because you can see that she's starting to wrap stuff up.
