Today's spotlight is a mini review:
Mine Till Midnight the first novel in Lisa Kleypas' Hathaway series.
Mass Market Paperback, 360 pages
Published October 2nd 2007
Published October 2nd 2007

As always Lisa never fails me! This is a hot, steamy romance. Good characters and second characters.
Amelia Hathaway has taken over the care of her siblings, an older brother and three younger sisters, after their parent's death. When her older brother inherits a title it only escalates his already reckless behaviour. Heartbroken he seeks solace in drinking, gambling and women. Leaving Amelia to chase after him and bring him home.
When she searches for him at a particular gambling house, she meets Cam Rohan, the wealthy half Gypsy/half Irish manager of the club. He helps her locate her brother a...moreThis was a fabulous story; Lisa Kleypas at her best. Cam and Amelia are wonderful characters. The chemistry between the two of them was so vivid. The Romany culture aspect is interesting and I also enjoyed the rest of the Hathaway family. I can't wait to read about Win and Merripen's story. This simple love story has twist and turns throughout, along with humor, some sorrow, paranormal activity and a little mystery, too. As I was reading it, I fell deeply in the atmosphere of love, despair, lust and bold ambitions. This 19th century passionate romance is riveting from start to finish! Lisa Kleypas has created a brilliant story, sweet romance, hot steaming scenes and the promise of an even better second installment!

Hi, I'm Sherri. . . and just to be clear I'm not [Fikt]shun, but I love her blog.
I love to read fiction, so writing reviews of books for a hobby is just an added pleasure to my list of things to do. I just can't read a good book without sharing what I've read. When I'm not reading, I'm writing.
By the way, if you like reading on the naughty or romantic side, visit my new blog FIK(TISH)UHS Pleasures.
